Alright after all these threads about goose fletching, I dug out my goose wings from a while ago, and decided to give them a try . . . I am impressed, they are pretty sweet. I just wish some of these Canadian Geese would come in pink, lol

Lets seem them Compound guys go for my arras now, lol
Also I decided to try and splice and even tho it is a little harder then I thought, I love how they look. For some reason my chopper cuts my barred feathers a little shorter??? I chop them both with the same chopper, lol. It ain't that big of a deal tho

Very nice. I had read Rob's how to's aswell and was fortunate enough to find a road kill hen turkey from which I was able to save the wings. I made up some fletchings for my boys from the secondaries to practice cutting and chopping. Very cool and satisfying aswell. Now to get my hands on some goose feathers.
 Nice!
I might be too easy to please because almost any arrow that I haven't had to put a hand to looks great!..lol
But these are truly awesome looking! Thanks for sharing!

Shoot a snow goose, then use rit dye to make them pink. Might work. Way to go Chris!
Great work! :clapper:
Nice! When I saw the thread title I figured you got a Mohawk, I know they are one of Rob's passions.

I didn't say anything about Mohawks in my 1st post. :goldtooth:

Oh yeah Mudd, Rob's "Addittion" to Vince's bows is well known Hereabouts, and with you joining the club, I just had to put a Mohawk on my "Short List". Chris, your Splicing job came out real nice. I've been wanting to give that a go myself, soon as I get time. I'm also secure enough in my masculinity to shoot "Pink". Well, actually, I'm just anal about loosing arrows. Lol!
Pink is definitely worth it!!! I don't loose very many shafts:)
Haven't tried splicing yet, but want to...a great look!
Sweet
Rob and Bentpole turned me on to Mohawks, now it looks like I'll have to follow the Goose Feather Deal
Do I see another member wanting to join Team Pink?
 ;)
Very cool!!!
