Playing with some woodies today with my Big Five, I didn't make theses myself, that's kind of a change of pace. None the less they fly well at 20 paces.

Nice shooting !!, ya know, without the feathers they would almost look like really long cigarettes in the picture with the plain wood being the filter and white cap the paper end, just a thought :)
Agreed that wood is more fun :) Good shooting!
real nice shooting bro
Sure didn't take you long to get reaquainted with the Big 5  Nice shooting!
Could this mean the woods are going to the Muzzy...lol!!!!! :goldtooth:
Wood is good. I bought some carbons a while ago. Only shot three of them, once. They fly great, but I really enjoy wood arrows.
Good shootin'!
:clapper: Just feels right !
Fly good? I would say! Outstanding group!
Wood arrows are WAY more fun!
Fantastic shootin...
Woods arrows just shout traditional!
Fly well?!! Yes they do. Nice shooting, far better than the "Robin Hood" in my view. The arrows I'm seeing on this site are rivalling the bows for beauty. I like a dozen or so in my Art Vincent back quiver, I feel "well armed."

I'll be shooting wood as well as carbon, they both fly the same.
Woodies Are Cool! Then again, I still dig my 2016's.
... mike ...
Good shooting!
You mean arrows can be made from other materials than wood?? I thought wood was all there was!!!
Woodies and Hill style bows go together like ....well...err ... they go together like woodies and Hil style bows ... lol
'Nice shooting !
Now that is some good shootin their partner :archer2:
Thats great Jim.
Maybe someday I'll have the guts to mess around with one of those. For now I have to master the recurve first.
Great group.
Good shootin' there, Stone! Coincidentally, I just had my Big Five and some self-made cedars in the woods out back, shooting through high grass and brush at maurauding wild bag targets and a nasty mean feral foam javalina that has been hanging around and testing my patience. It was nip and tuck but after careful maneuvering and a few tough-angle shots the cedars managed to put'em all down before the death charge. Had to stop though, was having way too much fun.
While looking over the targetbeasts I found the remnants of a carbon arrow that had been ravaged, apparently at the hands of a wild rebar or rockcritter. There was still fresh glue around the vinyl, the nock had been entirely consumed and the feathers were ripped completely off the carcass! Must have been a horrible ending for the little plastic fella. Guess the wild is no place to play for sissyshafts.
