Well I finally got some pics of my MOAB I received from Jim, and I included another I picked up from a fellow Tradganger... The one I got from Jim is 60" and 68# @ 29", and the other is 60" and 59# @ 29"...

I've already got blood on the one I got from Jim with a 34 yard shot followed up with a 24 yard finishing shot on a yard varmit, and the other had the blood of a doe on it from last fall from the Tradganger I bought it off of... Some Mojo for their future hunts... As they seem to know what to do when the time comes. ;)
Nice couple,enjoy them.
Nice matched pair Jeff!
You've shown some spectacular judgment!!
Two really awesome looking bows!
Congratulations!

God bless,Mudd
have fun with them- nice set of MOABs
Sweet bows, Jeff... can't hardly wait till Jim finishes mine - should be similar to the bottom bow in the 1st picture.
Congratulations!
real nice! ive got one ordered, much "plainer" version though.
Beautiful looking pair. Congrats on a fine setup. :clapper:
very nice :notworthy:
Very nice bows! I love my MOAB. Got all kinds of complements on it from people who tried it at Compton today. Everyone was talking about how quiet it was and asking what it was. I didn't know it was so quiet. I only have a half strip of wiskers one each end.
I like the wool puffs at the 1/4 position from the tips, but I think they are the quietest high performance R/D Hybrid Longbow I've ever shot...
C'mon Jim....
Threads like this are killin me! :help: :help: :help:
Jmgcurve-
Getting your patience tested huh brother?..lol
Hang in... it'll happen. After a day or two it'll be like getting married all over again and you won't be able to remember life as it was before hand..lol
It's all good!!
YHS, Mudd
God bless
Jmgcurve,
I'm about 6 1/2 months out on Jim's list also... ordered another right after I received the first from Jim, 60", 62# @ 29"... Bubinga riser with Bocote flare, Moose horn tips and overlays on the back of the riser. Boo limbs with honey stained Curly Maple veneers front and back, leather grip, and riser cut to center.
Picked up another one a couple of weeks ago, another 60", 68# @ 29". Which makes #3 in the house with the one ordered on the way... Very reasonably priced new, and even better on the used market although you don't see many on the used market...
Love these bows!
Thanks for the support Mudd.
Jeff, I am six months into my wait, so I can see light at the end of the tunnel. Mine will be osage with bubinga flare and cherry stained eucalyptus or angrie veneers (Jim's choice). 4 layer overlay, center cut, and throat 1/4 to 3/8 closer to the shelf. Recurve shooter trying once again to shoot a longbow.
Boy, that is going to be very close! The these are eucalyptus and curly anigre respectively. And they both have osage veneers on the belly. The one is about 6 months further along on the osage color change than the one I just got from Jim, so they will only get better and better...
