Woodcraft Supply look online. Not sure if they sell boards on line but the store down in Loveland CO carries it. Good looking wood have been planing on trying it for arrow shafts. I think I have seen it at exotic wood supply stores such as Sears and Trostle in FT Collins CO. So look around not to difficult to find.

No you would have to glue a couple/three of the boards offered on the web site together to get a block.

No i was referring to the other sites i found offering it in a max length of only 6-8". Wood craft has the perfect size since it is getting sandwiched between some purple heart.

Cool that should be beautiful.

I have been considering the yellow heart for shaft and lignum vitae (green heart) for the footings on some arrows but I would bet the purple heart footing materal I have will look nice with the yellow heart also. I would like to see the bow when finished you should post pictures or pm me if you will.
