It used to be Selways until I tried a Great Northern side mount.I find Selways are better if you need more weight on one side of the bow to help cant and stabilize the bow(Like I do).The great northerns are a touch lighter but I like the design.Just wish they were six arrow as I like to carry 3 BH and 3 Hex heads.

Depends on the bow. On my Morrison Dakota I like the BOA small fry. On my Bears and 7 Lakes it's the Great Northern Strap on.

I had this one custom made. It serves as a back quiver, right or left handed and also will serve as a side quiver for the right hand only.

The more I use it, the better I like it!

not a bow quiver fan though I use the single & dual stalkers by ABS for one or two arrows.

more arrows means:

in the summer - High-Noon-Hunter - stalker quiver

in the fall for hunting - SafariTuff ArrowMaster

I used to use a Selway, but it really loads down a Hill style bow.  Went to a back quiver for most cases.

Been using the EFA, adds very little weight to the bow.

I designed this one and this is the second of two I had made. They were made by two different people but the 1st one just didn't suit me so I traded it off to Mike at The Nocking Point.

This one is great! I love it more and more as I use it especially since I have also been learning to shoot left handed.

I wish I could figure out how to make it work as both a back quiver and a side quiver for both the right and left. But I guess 3 out of 4 ain't bad. There is also a leather hood that's deep enough to cover the fletch end of the arrow too if wanted or needed.

If you do a search on Custom Quiver you'll find my original post explaining the situation with the builder.

God bless,Mudd

I like Selways and Eagle's Flights--Slide on, strap on and limb bolt.  However, I modify the Eagle's Flights with a Selway gripper on the lower bracket.

I use the Selway slide on leater type on both TakeDown Recurve & Longbows, although I pretty much only shoot my TD Longbows anymore, I find the Selways to be very quiet with no rattles, I never have liked the bolt on quivers for some reason.

I like an eagles flight with a 4 arrow hood and 3 arrow gripper.Gives me lots of fletch clearance, plenty of room for any 3 broadheads and is very light.I like the mini boa alot as well and the Great Northern for limb bolt application.

If I'm shooting 2-blades it's an EFA 4 arrow, if I'm shooting big Snuffers or well any 3-blade it's a Selway.  I also like side quivers, Safari Tuff Arrowmaster and the Art Vincent "O.L. Adcock"...

I really like the Dawgware quiver.  The only problem is that is tends to bend in the middle, which I don't like.  It keeps the feathers dry, and the arrows are readily accessible.

SCBowhunter, we make a number of items that aren't on our website yet including several different 5 arrow models, some stitched enlay patterns, and our new "Wing" bracket.

The "Wing" bracket is an alternate to our extension bracket. It's actually built to the talon grip assembly and adds even more stability to the system. It sets the arrow gripper back about 3" from where the talon grip is anchored. Now you can purchase the Eagle's Flight Archery bow quivers with or without the "Wing" I have been testing them and sold a few but haven't taken any photos yet.

Looks like the offset design of the Kanati Angle has worked well for you guys. It is a trend setter and likely to be imitated but never duplicated. We are incorporating the new Kanati Slim Jim to the popular Kanati Angle. I hope to see them pop from the presses in another week. Thanks guys for all of your support!!!!

At Eagle's Flight Archery we try to work with our traditional archery friends to find better ways to make equipment that fit their needs. We started with a three arrow quiver and then a four arrow quiver called the "Mini" and the "Maxi".
After that came the "Cherokee", the "Navajo", and the "Apache". Since then we have added larger sizes and a variety of attachment system including limb wrap, limb bolt, and side mount, usually at the request of many of you.

Several years ago we worked with several variations of set back designs with powder coated or anodized flat metal, but didn't like the "Rambo" look of them nor the extra weight. Instead we opt to go with an "extension" bracket and a "Totem" shaft which is smaller, camoed, and which tends to be more concealed in the middle of the arrows. Recently we completed the "Wing" which does the same thing as our 4" extension, but is built into the "Talon" grip.

Our motto is "Travel Light With Eagle's Flight". We go all out to balance between premium quality and light weight. We use whatever technology is necessary but we want to build our traditional equipment in a trad shop, not a machine shop.

Our 3 arrow "Mini" still weighs in around 3.2 ounces, and is rock solid on the bow. Our 4 arrow quivers weigh less than 6 ounces. We offer more choices of designs, sizes, attachment systems, etc. then anyone else.

I went to the generic black plastic Thunderhorn that 3 Rivers carries. Had Selway slippage issues on the one withe obnoxious big plastic nut at really bad times.  The GN's don't allow me to put a fourth arrow in as it is too close to my bowhand, whats up with that?

My "vote" is for Anneewakee Kinati Quivers.

I might as well tell you a little about my favs when it came/comes to bow quivers. My first was a Selway - a little too heavy for me though it didn't affect my shooting "dope". I tried a Thunderhorne - loved the look of it but it was a little large on my ACS S(uper)S(hort) for my taste. A friend (Tom Anderson) showed me his small (3 arrow) Thunderhorn and I jumped on that model and kept it on my ACS untill John Dill of Anneewakee Archery Asked me if I would like to try a new product for him. It was one of his earliest Kinati quivers I agreed and loved everything about it. I pretty much haven't looked back because John keeps improving what I found to be a great quiver in the first place. I like a young busnissman who is inventive , design -wise, and people savvy. I have enjoyed watching John, a local friend/archer of some renoun, taking feedback , suggestions, etc. from customers, coupled with his own ideas, and making a product and service that is now in demand just about all over the country. Tends to justify my own preferance, besides - LOL When I sold my ACS to Killdeer (to "go primitive") it was still wearing it's Kinati (2nd or 3rd generation - I forget - LOL)

Yep, My favorite Bow Quiver is a Kinati - any model, depending on the bow. Now a lot of people see me carrying a back quiver at shoots, and also know that for about 3 years I only shot primitive bows. OK, that's right, I use the back quiver because it was made by, and was the personal quiver of, my dear departed friend, Barb Dumas. Her boy friend passed it on to me after Barb's untimely demise. I use it at shoots so that I can "take Barb" to shoots she never got to visit. Of course, I can't put a bow quiver on a primitive (all wood) bow - without hampering the limb action - IMO. But my laminated bows sport a loaded Kinati when they're wearing a bow quiver - much to my pleasure and satisfaction - a lot of the time even when I am carrying my 3D arrows in Barb's back quiver at the same time.

This season I hope to have one of John's new (soon to be released) "Slim Jim" Kinati quivers on my Anneewakee Addiction bow, "Blackie". It is his new one, designed for broadheads. That way I can carry the arrows I will hunt with, on my bow, even while 3D shooting, and carrying my 3d arrows in my back quiver, or when practicing at home and using a hip quiver - an ideal situation in my mind.

A couple sneek peeks at that "Slim Jim" prototype that I am so impressed with:

hp forge, I think what you are speaking of is the backing that the leather broadhead "sheaths" are sewn to. However I'm not sure if it is some of the hard rubber material John Dill uses in some places or a light weight metal, or what. John could answer in a minute. Or were you speaking of the leather sheaths themselves - those are made by John, as are most all of his quivers parts. He is a TG sponsor and plans to put the Slim Jims (there may be more than one configuration of it) on his web site soon. See the sponsors list at the top of the page(s) and keep an eye on his site - or give John a shout (e-mail or phone). He'll thank you for the interest, I'm sure - that's the way John is.
