I finally got my new Tall Tines yesterday evening. I know several people have been anxious to see it, so I thought I'd post a few pics.
Riser is Ziricote, limbs are Myrtle. 49@27, she really smokes an arrow!!

Beautiful!!
Darn That Allen, he keeps getting these wrong handed bows that I can't try out... I saw the chrono results boys and this bow is fast. Not to mention how nice it looks. I think Allen has got a keeper..
Jeff
Allelujah, damn it was time Allen.i figured that you didn't want to share with us.I like it,keep us posted how you like it and some comparisons.
SWEET!!! Mine will have Myrtle limbs as well...can we see pix of those? I'm undecided about riser woods but yours looks great....Ryan
Sorry, I was rushing around and posted the same pic 3 times, I'll fix it now.
"Drop dead gorgeous" woods, congrats on a beautiful bow.
beautiful bow allen!
Oh my she is gorgeous. Looking forward to it laying across a big VA buck.
Nice looker Allen-
That's what I was lookin' for...awesome bow!! Nice touch with the trimmed green whiskers!
SON, SON, SON.....that is one of Brian's best efforts yet.
You did a great job on choosing the woods Allen.
Just beautiful. Some of nicest Myrtle I've seen.
Brian has an eye for great wood combos. Nice bow, congrats.
Awesome bow!!
Allan, It's a beauty for sure!! I've seen that wood combo somewhere before :bigsmyl: Excellent choice!!!
Allen,
A terrific looking bow. I have enjoyed mine thus far. I am sure you will enjoy yours. I really like that dark chocolate brown riser and those blond Myrtle limbs really sets it off.
Louis
Makes me want to shoot a recurve? Yours would be my choice! Thanks, Ken
That is smoking HOT Allen. I am sure you will enjoy shooting it.

Yours was an inspiration for sure Fred!!
Thanks for all the kind words guys, it's a sweet looking bow for sure!
Beautiful combination of woods! Needs a checkered grip, though:) LOL!
I ran some chrono numbers today with the Tall Tines, here is how it stacks up against some of my other bows that I have/had:
Tall Tines 49@27 183
DAS Master carbon/foam 49@27 183
ACS CS 49@27 179
Morrison Cheyenne foam 50@27 183
Schafer ST 50@27 179
Black Widow PGA 50@27 177
Black Widow PSAX 51@27 181
These were all shot with the same arrow, using a clicker set at 27" draw.
That is a beautiful bow. Lots of luck with it.
Nice wood combo! Congrats!
Alan,
What arrow were you shooting??
Awesome Allen thanks. Confirmation of what I thought was happening.
Allen you old dog you, do you still have a ACS?
I just ordered a 66in 16in riser 45@28 with eastern diamonback skins to shoot at 3-D shoots but im sure it will see some hunting action.
By the way thats a great looking bow ya have there.
Joe, unfortunately I s s s sold my ACS last fall. :banghead: That is the one bow that I truly miss.....maybe I'll fall into another one someday!
I just added the #'s for my DAS Master Hunter above also. It has top of the line Win & Win carbon/foam limbs. As you can see the Tall Tines holds is own right with the best of them!
All my bows have been set up and shot with my 8 strand D97 strings as well.
Allen,
What is the wood type in the trim stripe of the riser?
Beautiful.
You do have a eye for the nice ones.
What did you need to buy the wife for this one?
Dang!!!
Pretty, and a performer to boot!
It will look even better in the deer woods. :archer2:
That is a sweet looking bow and a lefty.
Ahhhhh yeeeessss, the speed of those metal risered foam core carbon limb things with the beauty of a traditional recurve. TallTines, the best of both worlds
That is a beauty Allen!
I don't own a chrony, but I do own a barn full of bows. The Tall Tines has always seemed quicker to my eye....it's nice to see data on what I already suspected.
Brian should be shipping my new TT out next week.
I almost wish Brian hadn't told me. The next week will feel more like a month, now that I know he's getting close to winding it up.
Allen,
Were you shooting FMJ 340 through the chrony? What was your setup?
Nice man, And the arrow is on my side of the riser.
Bring it to the ATAR so I can dwell on it.
that is a really pretty bow.
we are spoiled today with such beauties!!!!
Dan, I was shooting a Carbon Express Tunderstorm SE with 145 gr point for all the speed tests. It weighs just over 400 grains, so roughly 8 gpp for me.
Jason, I'll have it at ATAR for sure. I may even tote it up on the hill to show it off to you!!
LOL
Very Nice !!! :notworthy:
Bill
Again another beautiful bow appears at the Cool Springs Camp.I can only look and touch but can't shoot it.A.S.,that is a looker and shooter for sure.Glad I got to see you put it together for the first time.Kinda like history in the making, now i will see it spank us on the the 3D ranges..lOL...congrats
Danny
Great Stars buddy! Great choice of woods for your TT! Welcome to the club.
Absolutely beautiful wood combo.
