I hunt with the natural wood on the back of my bow showing! I also try to buy my bows for hunting with a natural medium color on the back.
I notice that lots of bows are made with light colors on the back and are quiet breatiful.
When game is only a few yards away I need all the help I can get. I have always thought that brown glass might be better than black glass for hunting? Here are some pictures of my Morrision Dakota(stained dark), and my Massie Longhorn(Black Locus)meduim color. Absolutely love that Morrison. Beautiful bow. :notworthy:
I like a little natural camo on my bow limbs. Not sure if it is super important but it can't hurt. Here they are:

Mark,I really like your veneers, expecially the first one.
I like bocote on the back because I think it naturally blends with the sorrounds.
Hunted with a camo dipped bow last year and will be using black limbs on a grey and black riser this year.
