I thought there was a thread already started but I can't seem to find it. Went out to our 23 acres to check on the "Trophy Rocks" I put out. One was all gone, I replaced it, and I had over 100 pics on my two cameras. This was the one that got me enthusiastic. We had a very poor deer season last year here in NH so I am relieved to have about 8 bucks that I can identify and a bunch of does coming in. Best Spring sightings since we got the property. This guy has nice bases and we still have a long growing season.

Very nice Bill, looks/sounds like you have a great season ahead of you
See you in August!
Wow! You guys are way ahead of us here in MI. The bucks are still sporting spikes here. Looks like fun this fall hey??? Good Luck.
love that pic Bill!
Not sure what happened to the right beam on this little guy, but it looks painful!

Bears are not common in the area I hunt. I have only seen one in the 14 years I have owned the property. But this lady seems to think it is a nice place to raise a family. A neighbor says she actually has three cubs.

A beautiful full moon.

Curt: I just got new limbs for my DAS riser from Border two days ago. I hope I am dialed in for Muzzy...I guess I need to be because we'll be in Maine bear hunting a few weeks after that.
Here's another pic, btw, from my friend Todd (Birdbow, here) who lives about an hour away. We have been testing different mineral lick formulas and blocks. So far I have found the Trophy rock to be the best attractant.

Whip,
Is that bear photo from the property downhill from your house?
Jason, no, that is from up at my cabin/hunting property west of Black River Falls.

The above are a few of my favorites from this year. Top is a gobbler a couple of weeks before turkey season opened.
The next is a decent pick of a coyote. They are hard to get good pics of usually because they are always on the move.
The third is the first fawn pic I had this year.
All of these are at my cabin/hunting property in Western PA.
Here's another pic from Todd. He took it from his front window.

Whoa......that is a nice bear Bill........
David
Thanks for starting a new thread Bill, I was looking for the old thread the other day also!
Lots of blacktail bucks (a few hawgs) and small bulls showing up, and of course the bears are roaming all over this time of year.
