A friend picked up a Bear Polar 38# for me at a sale for $10.00. Just want to see what I got. Might only be fire wood, I hope not!!
Lots of different shapes on the Polar as the years roll by. I have two 1963s, which look like this:

No pics, but my wife is still shooting her 1962 Polar and she has been for several years. They are very nice bows.
This one is to have green glass and a light wood.
Thanks Everyone!
What length did you get? My wife's is 66 inches and very smooth to draw. It is marked 30lb @ 28. She draws 31, (Yes really) and it is 36 at her draw. I am sure you already know, but use dacron for the string on these.
I got this '59 Polar from our classifieds a little while ago. A real beauty, and a classic. 64", 48#.
