nice one here
i have some arrows that are fletched with blue 5 inch shield cuts and a barred cock feather, the cresting is the simple black and white that comes on the kustom king premium cedars. thinking about it would be kinda cool to splice the 2 colors together, if even just the tail end of the feathers. im not really big on diferent colors unless it is to distinguish my diferent spine/ arrows set up for particular bows, even then its hard for me to coordinate fletching colors with bow colors so i just keep it simple.
Thanks guys!!
Nice arrows Paul

Yeah, they sure are nice arrows, they fly awesome!!!! :clapper:
Not a very good pic bud, but these are arrows I used back in the 2005 season.
White stained cap, with two blue hen fletch spliced white on back and one white cock feather. Front 8" stained blue behind the broadhead.
Sure miss creating/making/using wood arrows :archer:

Another not so great pic, but you get the idea...

What color stain is that, Curt?
The white is Minwax water based white, and the blue stain was made by mixing blue powdered tempra paint and alchohol.
You can make any color stain using tempra paint
Thanks Curt ;)
They sure are fun to play with. Never had a blue set before.

My favorite arrow color. To my eye, white shows best in flight and blue/white show best against the ground.
Pink sure seems like it would do better but I really don't think it does.
These are beautiful arrows. I'm gonna have to work a set up. I've not done blue since I switched to trad.
Here's some blues I made a couple years ago, they are sitka spruce.

I absolutely despise blue. Freckeled blue eyed Irishman speaking here. So if you should happen to want to build your own, send me your address and I'll send you some despised blue nocks.
Just a thought on blue arrows. One color that I have found goes very well w/ blue is.....orange. Really makes a bright arrow that can be seen in flight and looks great in the quiver. Don't have any pics but trust me they are sweet.
Thanks everybody nice looking arrows and great idea's :goldtooth:
