Title: BW PSA2 N. 03628 LOST FROM USPS
Post by: carlo1404 on June 12, 2010, 05:02:00 AM
Hello,
on April 2010 I bought from USA a Used Black Widow PSA2 N. 03628, crafted on 9-03 name on bow "ED PFUND JR", it is 60" 46# at 28". The bow was shipped via USPS Priority Int. Mail and was tracked till UK USPS exchange office but never arrived in Italy... the last news from USPS Tracking site show :

Depart From Transit Office of Exchange, May 19, 2010, 8:01 pm

I Think it may be lost and if anyone found it I'm ready to pay a good reward.
Thanks to all
Carlo

I shipped a Black Widow to France a few years ago,
It also went "missing" after it got to Customs Office there.
It finally showed up at the customers home after about 3 months.
We made dozens of calls and sent letters to keep the pressure on those responsible.
Do not give up.

Carlo, go theUK Pst Office website (www.royalmail.com) & use the USPS tracking number.
I'm not gonna guarentee it'll work, but when I lived over there, I shipped a lot of bows into England. Royal Mail use & recognise the USPS Tracking numbers & transfer them onto their system at handover.
It doesn't always register on the USPS site once it' in the UK. It can also take 7 or 8 weeks to clear Customs, especially if it's being re-shipped into Europe.

Man that sucks to hear!
One possibility is that it has changed postalprovider, and is therefore not viewable in the USPS system, just from the provider it changed to.. (Italian or UK Postal?)
Be sure to lets USPS know, and keep nagging.
Hope it works out for you!

SveinD....
other packages received by USPS arrived in italian Custom directly from USPS european Exchange office, so when arrived in Italian Custom they change provider who became S.D.A. (a branch of Poste Italiane group) who provide to deliver the package at the door of receiver ad ask the payment of Custom Taxes.
My package is'n arrive in Italian Custom and it is still on USPS responsability...
Thanks
Carlo

Keep your chin up and keep the pressure on them.  They need to find that bow and put it in your hands.

I'm glad it turned out well for you. Back in 2004 I got a $1,200 target compound for my grown son for Christmas. I provided the shipping address to my new residence. The company made a mistake and sent it to my old address which was then occupied by an ex-con (my landlord's son).  When I aksed the occupant about it he denied ever receiving the bow. I talked to dear old dad and he said he had no influence on Junior. The UPS driver said he remembers delivering the bow to the front porch of this wrong address. The bow company sent me a replacement since it was their mistake. I'm sure the fellow who stole the bow had no idea (he isn't an archer--just a drunk and thief) what he had. I imagine the bow was traded for a bag of dope.

I lost my wallet last friday while out doing some running around and i had $2,200 in it.

I had that much cash because my landscaper did a ton of work for me and wanted to be paid in cash.

Anyway i got a call 2 hrs after i lost it and a gentleman had found it in the pharmacy, man what a relief.
