By retiring I mean I'll be doing something I enjoy for money and living a life of leisure. Living in the Pike National Forest will just fuel my appreciation for traditional bows and I get to tramp around in the woods too. I already have friends there. It's time to live the GOOD life.
Go and visit a buddy and come home with a job and place to live in Gods country. Does it get better? Friends are a good thing. :)
I'm very happy for you! Enjoy your new blessings.
Accolades to you and best of wishes, make the very best of it.
I wish I had the the same situation but it is good to hear from the someone more fortunate...
Tear it up and have a blast brother, I am so excited for you.
Oops...wish my sentences were better, but you get the drift.

Blessings they are. :D
Leisure isn't all it is cracked up to be. But a good rest here and there is good for the soul. Hope you enjoy it and keep us all updated.
good for you!! It takes courage to make a change like that. i did a couple of years ago and never regret it a moment. Enjoy those wonderful mountains and forests. Take your bow and pack and dont look back
Where in the Pike NF are you moving? Beautiful country there.
You won't regret it.
I did the same thing when I was in my early twenties. Got sick of Nebraska and whitetails. Pretty much threw a dart at a Wyoming map. Landed on Sheridan. Quit my job, took everything that would fit in my truck and trailer, left the rest. Found a place a live, and found a job within a week. I have been in southern Wyo now for the last ten years working as a fed coyote hunter. I am fortunate.
I wish you the best.

Don't know if you fish, but that's some of the best fishing in the state. Welcome to Colorado!
Congrats and good luck.
I'm doing the same thing in a couple of months. We are moving to Fredericksburg, Texas. We'll be helping out on the Critter Lake Wildlife Ranch.
Got to love how life turns out at times...
Enjoy and my the Good Lord Blees you always...
I envy you but shouldn't. I'm still in Nebraska to stay. As we get older our dreams are still real, but we tend to compromise. (http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z314/Bowferd/006.jpg)

Congratulations Andrew ,
Pretty cool ,
It's always good to hear someone has a job ,And a specially one that they will enjoy ,In mind when work I hear a lot about guys losing their job .It's great news and a very good blessing to hear,And especially that you'll enjoy it .
And you're right about the blessings ,And someone said
"later in life we have a tendency to compromise "
Sometimes that happens ,But the blessings we receive in life can only come from one place.
You are definitely blessed
Carl
Always be thankful. Enjoy. And don't forget to invite your friends for a wk or so in the fall........LOL.
Good for you...look up the Clums at RMSGEAR in Denver if you get there..they are top notch and just fun to be around
