Woo. That gave me goose bumps. My girl just turned seven and my boy will be born any day now. Momma is starting to feel the 'practice' contractions...

Thank you for sharing that!

My wife and I loved watching it.It took me back a few years to shooting with the Woogchilde when she was that young.

I appreciate how patient you are with her.

But I am absolutely crazy about her enthusiasm!!!!

God bless,Mudd

Great video, thanks for the balloon idea to encourage my daughter. She likes to shoot but gets bored after a little while.

Awesome! She got more aggressive after the first one. Did you put powder in the balloons for effect? Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the kind words. Yes I just made a paper funnel & put baby powder inside. I wanted her to get a BONUS, besides just the POP. ANYTHING to get her excited about shooting, & I think it worked   !

She wore me out lastnight, as I was editing the video, wanting to go shoot & film more stories about her. She thinks she's a movie superstar, which indeed she is.  ;)  Glad everyone enjoyed it, I wanted to do it since last year, but wanted to wait til she was a tad bit more ready.

I watched your video this morning, before heading out the door. Had me laughing and crying at the same time. Struck a nerve! I remember being three, and my daddy showing me the tricks of long distance swimming ~all the way to the raft!~ in Hawaii. Seeing you and your daughter just brought it all back, and made me grateful that here was yet another example of kids and parents doing it right.

The time you are investing in your precious child makes not only her, and your, life better, it helps the whole world get onto a little higher plane. I see these stories a lot here onsite, and that is part of the reason I hang around here so much. Thanks for sharing.

Again I appreciate the kind words. It's especially nice to hear from you, Killdeer, as I've always thought you're a great soul. It' was an honor to meet you last year at A.T.A.R., all the best.- Dave.
