Title: Fletching Question
Post by: rubicon on June 10, 2010, 12:23:00 PM
I have a Bitzenburger jig with a right hand  nock receiver.  If I want to fletch left wing feathers, obviously I will need to purchase a left wing clamp.  My question is can I use a straight nock receiver or is a left nock receiver required?

rubicon,  If you have a straight clamp and nock receiver just offset left or right for like feathers.  If you want to use a helical clamp, then you can use a straight or left index.  You'll get more effect with the left index but the straight will work fine.

Thanks moebow.  I do want to use a left helical clamp.  I have a straight nock receiver but not a left nock receiver.  Just wanted to make sure the straight nock receiver would be okay to use.
