Title: Stu Miller's DSC Program & 64-Bit Windows 7
Post by: Night Wing on June 10, 2010, 10:16:00 AM
I hope I'm okay with this subject.

My old computer uses the 32-bit Windows XP operating system and my hard drive is failing. Stu Miller's Dynamic Spine Calculator program runs great on it and it's quick and easy to get proper arrow spine results. However, my new computer is going to be running 64-bit Windows 7. Does Stu's DSC program work with 64-bit Windows 7? Stu's program gives me the same results as bare shaft tuning, but bare shaft tuning is so slow and time consuming, I've come to dislike bare shaft tuning since Stu came out with his DSC program.

BTW, I'm also wondering if Open Office, which I need to open the DSC program, will run on 64-bit  Windows 7? Any comments will be appreciated by me.

Yes to all your questions.  Stu's calculator and W7 work together OK on mine.  Same with OO.  Download and go.

moebow,

Thanks for the confirmation. I'll be downloading Stu's DSC and OO programs tomorrow.
