Here is a new takedown recurve I just got from BlackCreek bows. It is 42# and 56". They custom fit the riser to my design and fit.

Wow, that grip looks real radical! How does it shoot? Nice looking wood combo. Congrats.
I shot it for the first time at the Howard Hill Event this past weekend, I shot 2nd in men's seniors class, a score of 260 out of 300. I had only (2) 5's.
Great looking bow.Love the bocote. That sure is a radical looking grip.
Great wood combo. Beautiful piece. Not sure about the grip though. Looks wild!
Most guys do not like my grip. But, it works for me.
I love the look and would love to try it out. It is definitely a shape i would have to test before buying.
This grip is not their standard grip.
Most people like their standard grip which is much more of a low wrist than this one.
Wow, that's the Mt. Everest of high grips. Love the bow. I've gotta shoot one soon.
Sweet, love the bocote!
Pretty is as pretty does!
Your pictures show its beauty, your score shows that its not as Terry(TG) would say is "all smoke and mirrors"
Thanks for sharing!
God bless,Mudd
WOW great looking bow!!!!!
I remember using tape epoxy and parts of a tennis ball cut up just to get a grip close to that back when high wrist grips were all the rage. I love the look of that grip. Nice bow.
That front strip looks like phenolic or is it ebony?
The front is phenolic. I wanted a little extra weight in the riser.
Real nice bow you got there John.
full draw pic Please
That was the second riser with a custom grip we made for John. The first was for his A&H ACS limbs with a very similar grip. There must be something to this unusual grip because I've never seen John shoot as well as he does since he started using it.

SSSSWEEEEEET!
Not too many take-downs that appealing to me but I just love her.Bacote rules.Reckon how she'd work at a 29" draw? CONGRATS on the curve and your score!
Awesome! That's a nice looking 3 pc. for sure.
Nice looking hell.....that's BEAUUUTIFUL. :saywhat:
Jim says the bow should be 58" for 29" draw. He could build you one in about 4-6 weeks!
That's right John, on all our bows the maximum draw length is 1/2 the bows AMO length. 56" AMO-28" draw, 58" AMO-29" draw, 60" AMO-30" draw, etc.
