just was wanting to see some of those homemade arm guards and quivers you guys make. been out cutting some red hartebeast for the kids arm guards and thought it would be cool to see what you guys have done.
here's apic of my armguard template....lace it with stretch cord. I like mine simple

Charlie,
You have a pic of how that arm gaurd is laced? Can't picture how the four holes on the top side tabs are used. One long piece or 3 individual pieces?
Thanks!
OkKeith
nice charlie
lets see if i can get through this (right hand in cast)
the bottom holes (singles)are for hooks or buttons.
the holes (::)get laced.
start by tying a knot in the end of stretch cord. thread unknotted end into bottom right hole and bring it out the upper left hole.
leave enough for a loop then thread end through upper right hole and across and out of lower left hole. tie knot.
you are left with a loop which is stretched around forearm and placed over hook or button. pulling on the knot end tightens the guard.
if that is unclear i'll try to get a picture
thanks charlie, kind of hard to get anything done with a hand in a cast.

Hi,
I think I get it but a photo some times is better than a 1000 words. So if you do have a photo I would like to see it.
Thanks for your time.
will post pics tomorrow
