Well as you know we are fortunate to have Rod Jenkins coming back to the west coast and doing another seminar here in Hood River OR for those of you that did not know of it the date is June 26th-27th . We did have a full class but due to family obligations and one other fellow falling off his roof ( still alive) and ending in the hospital( prayers for Doug appreciated ) we have three slots open. Contact me for info
Hey Ted, we just had a class in Georgia with Rod. If any of you guys are thinking bout this, let me encourage you to attend. But I can tell you one thing that we all found out. We need longer arrows!!!!! Guess I never really knew how to draw a bow correctly an I have been doing it over 40 yrs. Don't laugh when he hooks someone up to that thing he calls the FORM MASTER, your turn will come!!! Great class!!!
TTT
OK everyone that is signed up for this , the time is just about here. Those of you that are planing to camp need to get ahold of me for directions to the range. The rest of you can meet us here at Raptor Archery on Sat. morning at 9:00 AM and follow us up. Still two spots as one couple had some plans change last minute.
Is Rod bringing some "real" southern bbq? :saywhat:
Ted wish I had seen this earlier or you were holding this clinic a little further west :) maybe next time...
Jerry
Not sure if he is bringing the bbq but I will be picking him up at the airport in the AM Friday morning and coming back to the shop , maybe he will fix lunch on the bbq, seems I have a bunch of Spring king salmon that need fixin.
Looks like the weather is going to be nice this weekend and arrows will fly.
Jerry I am sure if you got enough guys lined up Rod would be delighted to come to Hawaii, I would gladly carry his stuff for him as well.
Last chance for some of you locals that are dragging your feet , still spots due to last minute cancellations ! Get on it.
Well Rod is hard at work with all the folks learning to shoot, what a chance to spend time with him and learn more about shooting, if yall( Rod's way of saying you guys) get a chance you have to learn from this man, his ideas may not be the only way but his help working on your shooting form , spending time shooting correctly you will become a better shot , no doubt .
You will also need new arrows as your draw length will most likely lengthen.
Here is a semi live photo of Rod helping improve one of the students stance. (http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x295/photos4work/SANY0304.jpg) Turned out to be a beautiful day here in Hood River with loads of new ideas for guys to work with.

This one is showing that not only is he a great teacher and shot with the bow , but he can do a log over the creeks as well.
Great to have you out again this year Rod, we were blessed with your company , hope your trip home to all that humidity was good. Look forward to more next year.
