I thought you guys would appreciate this one. I have been after this dude for three weeks. Note the crease on his forehead where he missed being blue eyed by a an inch. Needless to say he was cautious and I caught standing looking at me at 15 yards.

Well done,congrats for the perseverance.
Congrats :clapper:
I've set a goal to try to kill a few this summer myself.
I have several "marked for death", after finding the dens during turkey season.
No more ground hog day. Congrats
Awsome! I missed yeasturday at 15 feet. That's what happens when you don't pick a spot. Congrats!!
Magnus
Did ya find any mess where he was standing when ya creased him???????
Nice going - I wish we had em round here - used to chase em in Roxboro - it was always fun - and a CHALLENGE!
I hear they taste good.
Congrats.
Hey Tom, nice ground griz! I've been after one that frequents my food plot on occasion. Boy is he skiddish! Nice going!!

Nice shooting .Wish they was out here. Would love to try for them one of these days . Going to skin him out ?. What kind of tip you got him with?
Glad to see the Tip still has the Mojo Tom, nice shot.
T.J.
Yummy! Pull back the fur, add a little salt, and dig in!
Impressive, did you give him a last meal and cigarette to go with the haircut before executing his sentence? :D
Nice baby griiizz buddy!Good shooting.
Cut that bad boy up, place on skewers with green pepper, red onion and summer squash. Set the skewers in Italian salad dressing for a couple of hours, then on the grill.
I've missed a couple this year and also bounced one off of its head too. Looking to seal the deal this month when the muhlberries start to ripen (groundhog cocaine).
I hear ya Tom... how big were his "Teefies".
Great shot!
Good going! I have a big whistle pig here that I missed twice last year and he gave me the slip many times last fall. I've been looking for him but have only seen him once early this spring.
He should make Pope and Young by fall.
Congrats
What amazes me as that I have one hole I call the "boneyard". I bet it has 6 hogs in it that went back in the hole carrying my carbon arrow down the tube. Never fails another one takes it over sooner or later. Tough critters who use their sense of smell, eyes and ears as good as any animal I have gone after.
Nice ground grizz. You just have to watch out for a sow with cubs. they're the mean ones.
Good shootin Tom-
Good for you Tom. Did you use your turkey broadhead on him? Enjoy the shoot this weekend and see you in a few weeks.
My favorite small target! I love hunting them.
Nice shooting.
