The Summer 2010 issue of TradArchers' World magazine is scheduled to be mailed out next Monday. This issue has several how-to stories ranging from building sapling bows to making Flemish twist strings and sharpening blades/broadheads. There also are hunting tales about mountain goats, elk, bear, antelope, deer, javelinas, small game and gator gars. Master Chef Dan Hugelier shares a wonderful recipe for wild boar scaloppini piccati. For more information, go to www.tradarchersworld.com. (http://www.tradarchersworld.com.)

I apologize that tradarchersworld.com is not on line at this time, as it is being redesigned. It should be operational soon, however. Tom

Looks good Tom. I have a CD of pics from the selfbow jam for you. If you are not at Chip this weekend I will bring it to Compton.
-
Hey Greg! I just couldn't fit the selfbow jam into my schedule this year. Am looking forward to seeing your pix and hearing about the get-together. Hope to see you at Chip Falls Saturday. Tom

I don't mind the Issue being a little late, every magazine gets better and better, all archers should tell a friend about it. I love the longbow archer on the front cover inside the globe. I should have my new issue by the 10 th. cant wait.
-
What are the dates of the Compton get together in Michigan.
-
Great Magazine Tom.
I should get it in time to take to Comptons
Be sure to stop by and visit while your there. :campfire: :campfire: :archer:

Is the magazine available at any book stores or news stands? Looks really interesting.
-
At this time TradArchers' World magazine is available by subscription or single issues from www.tradarchersworld.com (http://www.tradarchersworld.com) or PO Box 67, Irma, WI 54442. Also, selected traditional archery retailers sell individual magazines and subscriptions. There is an E-magazine available at TAW Web site, too, that is identical to the paper copy. Tom

A answer to the post from "ICANDRAW" Trad Archers World is the best magazine out there. Very down to earth ,and helpful. The how to stories are great. The quality of the paper is superior to Bowhunter, Outdoor life or Field and Stream.
-
I second what Steve said, great magazine , just regular guys who love the bow and arrow.
-
I received my copy today.
 Great magazine love the how to articles.
Thanks
-
Well now that's just not fair! Mine didn't even have to leave the State and I don't have it yet!
Looking forward to some good reading.

Dang 3 year subscription ran out... have to pick up a copy of the summer issue and re up for another subscription at Compton. See you there Tom.
-
Shaun, I'll mail you a Summer issue and renewal card today (first class) so you should get it PDQ.
Joe, that just proves that First Class postage wins in a race with bulk mailing.
Gary, thanks for the kind words. Tom
-
I would like to pick up a copy at Compton's also.
-
Tom, got it today. Will bring the card and check to re up to Compton and see you there. Great to have Chef Dan back in the magazine - that man can really cook! (he makes a mean longbow and knows how to use it as well). Back to reading the summer issue, see you in couple days.
