Post by: limbow on May 31, 2010, 01:47:00 PM
Looking for some ideas or thoughts on a quiver for my 3 pc t/d silvertip longbow. What are people using and why? Thanks

Kevin

Great Northern adjustable-easy to keep off the limbs.

The Great Northern Quick Mount is what I am using on all my 3 piece T/D's.

The QD is light weight and very stable. Also you only need one quiver for all you 3 piece T/D's.

Other advantage is the ability to easily take the quiver off and then put it back on as you see fit.

I like the old Delta quivers. Got a couple for compounds a while back, when Scooby's was selling them CHEAP. Just made some custom brackets and adapted. Didn't go with the QD knobs.

Worked great, was quiet.

The new Bear model looks identical, but Delta no longer lists their making one (maybe sold rights?).

Eagle's Flight limb bolt quiver.  I replace the rounded lower gripper with a straight one, but if you don't mind the round one, it's about the lightest and most compact quiver out there.  Very sturdy and looks nice on a longbow.

Of the limb bolt ones I have used I like the GN limb bolt model. Its relatively light and solid.

The feature I like most about it though is you can slide the quiver in very close to the riser.Mine was within 1/4er inch of the riser. That made it balance very nice with the bow.Not as off center.Like ones that stick out further away from the riser.
