Here is a question for those of you with multiple listings in the upcoming auction. I have noticed that some of you with multiple listings have "buyer pays shipping." How do you juggle getting all of the buyers to pay for the shipping and keep track of who has paid?
Are you paying for the shipping up front and getting reimbursed from the buyer through PayPal?
Are you taking the items to the shipping office and finding out the cost to ship each item and then informing each buyer to contact the shipping office to pay the shipping fee? Good Lord did that even make sense? :knothead:
:help: Please pass on your method to me.
Thanks,
Tom
Hello Tom...We do the Buyer pays shipping because of the number of items we list...We regret having to do it but it allows us to buy a few extra items in the Auction. My wife Tammy works for the Postal Service and we ship every thing we can in Flat Rate boxes. Most buyers will contact us after the Auction and pay via Pay-pal or just send a check...either way works.
PM us if we can help...Don and Skyler
Thanks for the reply, Don. :campfire: I hope you don't think I was questioning why you do "buyer pays shipping." I am only trying to understand how you and anyone else handle the task of getting the buyers money for the shipping cost. Having an inside woman helping out would be very handy. I see this is a family initiative. :goldtooth:
Couldn't do it without her....Take care.
Tom, I would think after you get a message that the item is paid for and get you money for shipping you would be good to go.
Buyer will just have to send two payments one to the kids and one to you.
I'll be looking for your stuff in the auction.
Stiks
Yep....just go to the local post office and find out how much to ship the item...you can go ahead and do that now....and even post the amount on your listing.
Anyway....The winner pays St Judes for the item, and sends you funds for the shipping.
Thanks Terry for the information.
Now that we know we're going to have all that shipping money we were worried about having to spend at the end of the auction means we can relax and look around and see if there's anything else that's been collecting dust we want to donate and we can start shopping through those items already listed.
My wife wants me to make a list and print it off for her to use for "possible Fathers' Day" ideas. I like how she thinks...lol
God bless,Mudd
