Why is this bow in my blind and not my Addiction? Well... here goes. I just traded the Addiction. Now, the weird stuff. The Addiction is smoother, faster, and the grip is perfect. So, why the switch. It's like trading in your 22 year old athletic girlfriend for your 55 year old high school sweetheart. They are both the same weight and same height, so that makes it easier. Somethings are hard to give up. I see another Addiction in my futre...but it will be the phenolic riser and stippled grip. This is my second camodip bow and I really like the results.

I really want to do this to my bear montana. I'd just be afraid to lean it against a tree or set it down and never finding it again. lol

Very cool!! Thanks for sharing

I sent it to BigJim and it came out great. The Zipper they show on their website in Carbon Film is mine too. The scratch box sounds great now that I got my blood off the strikers! Finally got a hen to talk to me tonight.

A man could lay that thing down and lose it fast... I'd have to have a quiver full of white arrows to keep track of that one in the woods!

I still need to get up there to you and get those insoles.

Nice bow Mike--but don't most guys turn in the 55 year old for TWO 22 year olds???

I here ya.  To make that kind of a trade it would take a million-a-piece - at least.

Nice looking bow.

I got to thinking what joebuck said. I had a bad experience getting a bow refinished. It cost double what the dip did and took WAAAAAY longer. I can't see the great veneers and riser woods with the dip, but it has been pretty tough so far and it sure dresses it up differently. Nice to have the option.

joebuck should have used camodip.net instead of camodip.com, yes they are two entirely different companies.
camodip.net is now run by Big Jim and he does a great job. I should know, I trained him.

I tried the D.I.Y.... Camodip.com to save $80 over Big Jim.... I figured since i built the dang bow ,i could certainly figure out how to dip it.....I had about 90% Perfect dip but the 10% bleed through drove me crazy.. I contacted Camodip.com and they passed me over to their supplier/manufacture which makes the Hydrographics.probably same company you use Blackhawk...they offered alot of advice and i DID too on how to make it more consumer friendly..Bascially they need to give you more print to get it right the second time. IMO..There is no way the average amature can do a great job the first time....In the end I asked for some more print to finish my bow and base coat but was refused....so basically i blew $99 trying to save money. I probably could do a flawless job if  elected a SECOND time but screw it....i'll spend $4.95 at walmart and spray paint it.......FYI...send the bow off instead of trying it yourself over using Camodip.com....my 4 cents
