Title: knock setting
Post by: Stringplucker43 on May 24, 2010, 09:38:00 PM
Guys, shooting my Excel with G3's at 48. Have CX 250's.  Knocks are too big.  Ideas on how to shrink the knock to fit my string?

Dental floss on serving where nock goes or masking tape. Both work

Have your string reserved with a thicker serving.

Thanks guys.

Your are all good men.

I put felt on the limb tips, old bike inner tube as buffer between riser and limb, sting silencers, and oh my, what a great bow.  Love my longbow but this thing slings.

I will try all of the above and post results.

Hog hunting this weekend and trying to get ready!

All the Best.
