Title: dusting off my Big Five
Post by: Stone Knife on May 23, 2010, 08:03:00 AM
It's been close to a year and a half now since i have shot my Howard Hill Big five so I have dusted it off and ordered a new string I'm going to try a D97 string on it. I'm going to seriously shoot it this summer including at the Muzzy, I feel it's time I hunted with it again. I know it's dying to kill a deer    as much as I am dying to kill a deer with it   :archer2:

I agree with Spanky. D-97 really makes a Hill come alive. Have fun.

The bow is named Bullwinkle after the famous moose. It's 66" 48# @28" black and brown glass and Boo, the only option is the moose hide grip. Just your basic meat and potato's  Hill Big Five. Ringneck, that rabbit was giving me the evil eye, I took offense to that and handled the situation as I saw fit.

Sweet!

I wish there someone around that had one or more of those just sitting around collecting dust in the length or longer and about that same weight or lower that wanted to find a loving home..lol I'd do whatever I could to adopt it..lol

God bless,Mudd

PS One can't be to careful when shooting at those rabbits, you saw what happened to those folks in Monty Python's "The Holy Grail"...lol
