Title: Martin Archery MOUNTAINEER info?

does anyone have any info or review on this longbow?i've seen the on **** going for about a 100 dollars and i'am a little sceptical about.any info on them would be great!

I have one that I bought used off a guy back in the 80's. It was 55#@28" and was a good solid bow. It shot well, not fast,but did have some handshock which I got used to. I thought that it was a little above average in craftsman ship and shooting and enjoyed the bow much.   :archer:

The Mountaineer and Poineer are more of a Hill style type longbow.They were discontiuned years ago but now that Damon Howatt has seperated alittle from Martin they have bought back some of their older models on a limited basis.They not listed on their website but sell a few through that **** store.The Mountaineer model is ML-14 with a zebrawood handle and lams under clear glass.The Poineer is a ML-10 with a bubinga handle and maple limbs with brown or black glass and both were 68" long.
