Title: Robertson Tribal Styk
Post by: Gerry on May 19, 2010, 07:37:00 PM
Anyone shooting this bow?  Opinions and pictures if you have them.   i am seriously considering buying one.  I usually shoot a GN Ghost and I want a fuller riser but still on the smaller side.

I know they make  a good bow but I am interested in this model and how it shoots, feels in the hand - that sort of thing.

Thanks,
Gerry

I shot one at Kalamazoo two years ago and it is a nice shooting bow.  I wish he still made the Peregrine, but Dick said the forms were getting bad and he went to the new design.  The Tribal Styk was smooth and fairly quick.  Like all Robertsons it points well because Dick puts the shelf right on top of your hand.

Gerry, you wont go wrong with a Tribal Styk, got one this March, great shooting bow. The grip is one of my favorites, consistent hand placement and points where you look.  I got the X model, cocobolo with ebony flair and myrtel lams, looks as good as it shoots.
