GT 35/55 will work fine.I use a Bear weather rest on mine ..though its #55 GM...good shooting"
Dutch,
If you put limbsavers on the limbs at fadeouts and the fuzzy side of velcro in the string groves you will quite it down very well. You can also put moleskin in the limb pockets as well if needed. I shoot the Beaman ICS 500's (made in the USA) arrows off of mine and they fly like a dart. You will be pleased with it I'm sure. Brian
thanks to all
I have a Reflex Nomad which is practically the same bow. An adjustable rest like the center rest from NAP makes arrow tuning much easier. My 50# shoots 28" 2016's like darts. Solid bows.
I don't use limbsavers and have one pair of rubber string silencers and its plenty quiet.
Its a good solid bow, I like mine. At 45#, start with a CX150 with a 100 grn insert. Tip weight will be between 100 and 150 grn, depending on your draw length and how short you cut them. Limb savers, cat whiskers, and something (moleskin, loop side of velcro) on the limb tips will quiet it down nicely. I also prefer the NAP Center rest, to shooting off the shelf. Good luck!
