Title: Are 2016 Gamegetters and Legacys the same?
Post by: Bowhuntah on May 16, 2010, 07:11:00 PM
I have done all the bareshafting and blah blah blah that I care to do for a while, the fact remains that I have some 2016 Gamegetters that seem to fly great out of three of my recurve bows that range from 40# to 50# I was going to order a set of fletched up Legacys the same length as the Gamegetters, do the Legacys spine out the same?

i've been wondering the same thing ... some of the spine charts list the spine of the 500's as .500 but the 2016' are listed as .530...
those 500's tipped with 200gns sure do fly good !

The Legacys are made pretty much the same just purtier and a little straighter.

Get some 2016's and some 2018's and shoot any bow you want up to 60 lbs. or so.

Legacy are + or - .003 in strainess and game getters are + or - .006 if I remember correctly

Legacy shafts are also made from a tougher alloy like the XX75's.
