Here is my new Sonic Flight Deluxe from Hermanns Archery. Fred was fantastic to talk and deal with! Answered all my questions and built me a perrrrrrfect bow. This thing can really shoot! :scared:
Specs are: 64", 52# @ 29". Riser is a beautiful Bacote cut 3/16" past center and the limbs are Bacote w/bamboo cores. Also included is a matching Bacote allen wrench. She really flings an arrow. Please enjoy the eye candy.

Nice looking bow TW. Give me a call and tell me about it.
Beautiful bow. I really like the looks of the grip.
Very nice bow!!
Fred does excellent work.
Cool!!! Nice wrench.......
Colin, the grip is one of the things I really got excited about when the bow arrived. I was amazed at how my hand fit perfectly to the riser.
Thanks everyone. Taking her for a stumping run tomorrow.
That's one of the nicest looking bows I've ever seen.
Looks great. Grip looks beefy. Might be too big for me. Would be fun to shoot one sometime.
Mike, that's just it, the riser is not beefy. I have a small hand and it fits it perfectly. I'll take a pic of me holding the bow.

Sweet looking bow!
The bow has a very nice bend to the limbs also. Thought I'd share a pic of her at full draw.

Me like. Got an unstrung pic?
That's a nice looking bow !
That really is a great pic with the grip, thanks. Without that perspective I was thinking, nice, but too thick. How did you come to find this bowyer and this bow?
gorgeous riser and I really like the shape of the grip
congrats!
Enjoy!

Mike: I learned about Fred and his bows from Trad Gang member Tater(Pat) when I was looking for some ideas for a 3pc T/d longbow.
Jim: Here some unstrung pics as requested.

What a great looking bow and a shooter to boot !!! Congrats !!!!
Thanks for sharing T.W. Great looking bow. I'll bet it will put meat in the freezer and smiles on your face. Nice pics, wish I could do that with my camera.
That bow is nice!!
You going to Western States? I would love to get a close up look at that one.
Ya, sorry about the carpet thing. I roll the red one back because the bottom carpet shows the colors on my bows better.
Russell, I would love to be going but, I am going to be camping with the wife and kids for Memorial Day weekend. One day I'll make to the WSTR.
very nice. congrats!
First one I've seen pics of. Must say I like it.
It looks "Special". Craftsmanship abound on this one.
Very very nice!! H
That has to be one of the best looking bows I have ever seen. Love the grip. If it shoots anything like it looks you're a lucky man!
Dave, it shoots as good if not better than it looks. 'Course this is just my opinion after one day of shooting. I'll let you know more after a day of stumping tomorrow. The bow pulls very smooth at my 29" draw. Very quiet upon release and likes a 6 3/4" brace.
Have fun with it tomorrow. I'm going to see if I can stick that Snuffer into something other than myself in the morning. lol
Good luck Dave! Sounds like it's time for a bird to fall now that you know the Snuffer is sharp. :scared:
That's a beauty! I love bocote!
Beautiful bow!! I really like how he does the grip!
Sweet bow.
That is a beauty. I don't know if I missed it, but what is the info on the bowyer if you don't mind?
Took her out stumping and forgot my camera. Had a great day shooting though and this bow performed flawlessly. I will have to play around with bow quivers as the Selway slide on longbow quiver seemed a little to heavy for me. I'm thinking of using an EFA 3 arrow strap on.
I also found that this bow really likes an EL 2016, 29.5 BOP with 145gr up front for a total of 506gr arrow. They were really flying straight! There wasn't a stump that was safe within 25yds. Well, except the ones that weren't quite rotted all the way through.
TW,
That is a stunning TD longbow, glad you are loving it and shooting it so well.
Thanks Barry. If you ever make it out this way to hunt elk again, let me know and I'll see to it that you get a chance to shoot it.
Very nice looking bow...glad you are enjoying it so much.
Chris
Thanks for sharing a really nice looking bow, enjoy!!! Thanks Jerry.
Wow! Nice bow!!!!
WOW what a nice looking bow. After looking at the bowyers address he is only 2 hours from my house. I did not need to see this thread. Now I think i may have to go pay the bowyer a visit.
