Title: new ILF riser
Post by: Stringplucker43 on May 13, 2010, 12:08:00 AM
Just ordered a Hoyt Excel 21".  I have a friend shooting one at the local range and it is whisper quiet and light.  I plan on using my G3's at #48.

I can't wait to get it.  Now I need to figure what rest/plunger.

Any rec's?

I love my longbow but something about these ILF rigs just gets me going!

If you are going to use this as a hunting bow, I really like the NAP Centerest Flipper.

I went with a basic stick on flipper with a very good plunger. using the plunger makes tuning very quick, easy and spot on. Great broadhead flight as well.

Don't get a shorty plunger, the riser is to thick. You will need at least a medium length one.

If you are looking for a no muss - no fuss hunting rest, consider one of the inexpensive stick on rests without a plunger at all.  They include spacers for tuning and they are pretty much bomb proof.
