I promised ya'll pictures of the bear target I was making so Im finally getting around to that.
Just built a frame, filled it with scrap foam and great stuff, let cure, removed and carved, covere din black burlap and painted.
Its nothing fancy or high tech but for $40 it beats spending $200 and I can touch it up as needed with great stuff. I'll be adding some scrap carpet behind it for when I am shooting the heavy bows. I have a 45 yard range out to these targets.

Enjoy...I could have taken my time with the burlap but its good enough for my standards to get ready for the first bear hunt I'll be using it for.
Nice way to save money. Didn't you get a used deer target at Whittingham that you are gonna touch up?
Yup thts the one on the far left...spent $20 on it gonna run a few pieces of wire through it to keep the head on then foam a few spots just for cosmetic touch ups. It stops even the heaviest of arrows as is...the head just doesn't stay on LOL.
Nice work man, one day I'll get to set my own range up but I have to move from here to do it.
most days its neater with more target options including two 15 and 20 ft treestand positions but i have been a little lazy and just blind bale shooting mostly and haven't organized lol
