The ZSR is another 14" riser. As with the other Zipper risers it will accept both longbow and recurve limbs. This riser is based off of our 16" Standard Riser, just as the SXT was based off of the Extreme Riser.

This is the picture that is suppose to show the differance in grip location between the ZSR and SXT.The SXT riser is sitting directly on top of the ZSR riser

ZSR on the left SXT on the right

Any SXT limbs will fit on the ZSR riser. The SXT limbs will be 2# lighter on a ZSR then the limbs are on the SXT.I hope all of this makes since.

If memory serves me right, (very risky going from memory)a guy named Mike was just requesting something like this!
Your right, these two are going to Baltimore, but they are coming back home with me.I still need them to make my patterns.I dont want to spend all day FILEING out another one.Hey Mike,I may be able to get one to MI for you to play with once I get my patterns made.Your Classic limbs are headed your way in the morning.

Why don't you keep them and make me a deal on one of these?   :bigsmyl:  Could I get 58" with this one?

That is going to look real good on my bow, Bill.  I'm glad you still know who I am. That wood has to dry out sometime: just keep Brutes away from it. And yes your memory does serves your right. More changes to come!!!!!! MIKE

Hey LBOW I checked your wood (that dont sound right)! I checked your Cocobolo a week or so ago and it was still WAY TO WET.

Owlbait your classic limbs would make a 58" bow with a ZSR riser.

Pops that is what happens when you keep watching.  :bigsmyl:

Bowmarks Im sure we will have at least one of each at Denton.

The grip on the ZSR is about 1" forward of the grip on the SXT.A More D shaped riser. If you look at the picture of the Ebony and Tulipwood SXT sitting on top of the ZSR it will be more noticable.

Bill,

Nice looking new design.

I shot the St Jude's Bow while I was down at my brother's place this weekend.  Nice set up and a beautiful bow.  I took the evolution limbs off and tried them on my extreme riser and could really tell a difference.  Much flatter shot as it was a foot higher at 35 yards. The force curve of the draw has a really nice section in the middle that almost feels like a compound breaking over. Its really smooth.
The piggy bank is getting some deposits so I'm sure I'll be calling you soon. Set aside some nice looking zicote for my limb veneers  :)

By the way are you going to Compton?

Chris

Settle down Mike, SHEEEZZZZ! (What do you do with him Bill?  :D  )
Well done again Bill,
Chuck

Chuck you have been getting hints but your just too slow! When I ask about prototypes you need to step to the plate! Bill, does ZSR stand for Zipper Special Request or Zipper Short Riser? I asked for a D-shaped riser that would get me a 58" Zipper and BAM! That is Bowyer service!!!!
