Just a headsup folks. My email was hacked and they have control of my password and the acct. I have changed my email acct since this morning...but that was after the fact! So, if anyone receives an email from me asking for $2500 to be sent to England...disregard...as if you'd send it anyway! HAHA! Sorry for this. But I guess it is happening throughout the hotmail accts no matter the security in place. I was told by the computer dept. of a high tech firm that gmail is the most secure...just incase if you need to change.  Ok, now I think I will go "scammer" hunting. I hear that season is open all year!  :banghead:    :archer2:

sorry to hear that man.. Make sure you're using a LARGE broadhead for those spamming basturds

Yep, that's why I have 2 gmail accounts. One of the best. Sorry to hear about your account Dave!  

I have 5 email accounts, each has a purpose. One is just to tick off people on forums!  OK, just kiddin'. (not)  LOL

That is a real pain. It happened to me awhile back. My password wasn't strong enough.

Kinda figured that Snag, I was having fun with your hacker this morning, I finally agreed to send him 5K if he sent 2500 to Norm Johnson first.
BTW how was the conference in London?
Hope there was no harm done by the hacker.

Mine got hacked 2 weeks ago. It's ok, I never send sensitive info from that account anyway.

I have found out that even the guys at hotmail have gotten their accts hacked! Microsoft is not the way to go! Wannabe1 has got it right!

Dave, I'm a full time System Administrator for the Oregon National Guard. We start to learn these things early on and usually find what works best. I will also share this with you, Firefox is a more secure browser than IE.   :thumbsup:

Fact is I'am pretty certin you have never even heard the words spoken I wrote to the person much less would you ever say them yourself.So if you do get an email from bowdoc's archery or bowdocs Finish Restoring Polish its from me and you may want to delete it before reading those nasty things I wrote.Again if it does come to you I'am sorry about those few choice words I used if you do read it....if it goes to the dogs who or whom swiped your email his or her ears are burning a little this morning thats for sure.I got your back bro bd

Thanks for the heads up!  Are you going to The Northwest Jamoboree On Memorial Day weekend  this year?  I have some particularly nasty broadheads I have been forging up in my shop.  They are double barbed and designed to work their way in deeper once they hit.  They are a requested project with the intention to some specific ware heads for a reenactor.  I could always forge a few extra to help with your hunt.

I had to delete my hotmail account for the same reason.  It was mostly my junk account anyway.

So, where do I send the $2500 now? It is hard to keep track with kids in college.

I had the exact same hack-job about a month ago. I was supposedly in England and needed money to get home. On running a search on my own personal info it had all my private information correct except my address was Cambodia. No chance I live in Cambodia because there's no big whitetails there. A word to the wise, I think I know how they did it. A week before this hack-job I got an email asking me to update one of my security systems. It looked very offical when I typed in my email address and password. BUT instead of the little dots that normally appear when you punch in your password the actual letters of the password came up. I didn't think anything of it because I assumed they already had them but now I'm sure that's how they got my password. Lesson learned. Hunting season is now open in Cambodia. BW

Oh-Oh... so now if we get an email from Bowdoc saying he's in England, in jail and needs money how are we gonna know if it's legit? I mean Bowdoc in jail in England might be very possible or even probable. Maybe he went over to visit RobTatto's family. Maybe we should all send the money to Bowdoc's Seattle address first. UB

Don't worry about it Barry. Heck, Cacciatore is over the pond he can drop in and pay Bowdoc's bar bill so he can get out of jail! haha
