just acquired a griffin longbow and need to know what the recommended brace height is and who on here makes good strings? by the way it is a griffin longbow 60" 53@28
Without pics, I just can't believe you! :D
Oliverstacy, if you want a good string.
My 60" Griffin shoots very well at 6 3/4" brace. The string that comes with the Griffin is awesome. John McCullough would be the person to call.
Start at 7" and then start fiddling up or down.Mine were good at 7 1/8th.

Prove it! :)
Here's mine only two weeks old! I'm still playing with mine and the brace height is around 7-3/8. I want to shoot the string in first then I'll start dropping the brace height down and find the sweet spot. BTW 60" 53@28 also.
