Hello Trad Gang,
We've got something new from Jim Jones at Firefly Bows. Jim now offers the "Firefly FX Phenolic" for your consideration. The new bow features a "Phenolic I-Beam" riser which produces incredible strength and rigidity for maximum performance and durability. The phenolic also results in a bow with a bit more mass, plus the contrasts can make for some stunning good looks as well.
I'm posting some full size pics for you to get a good look at this beauty. This bow features Lacewood sideboards and limb veneers. :D

This one is black phenolic, I apologize the glare can give a blue-ish hue in the photo's.
The Firefly FX Phenolic's are priced at $759. You can see the specs on this bow (in stock now) here:

If you'd like to contact Jim about having him make one just for you, he can be reached at:

Since the phenolic is doing the heavy work I imagine Jim could use just about any wood for sideboards to compliment it.
It'll be a good one for sure.
