She's 62" of arrow thumpin' glory. Cocobolo and Zebrawood on the riser, Kingwood veneers on the back side, and Curly Zebrawood on the belly, bamboo core. It didn't surprise me much that I can shoot her just as good as I can all of Ben's bows. I'm tickled to death with her and I've named her "Cutter".......there's an inside joke on that and if "Horner" shows up.......I'm sure that he'll be glad to elaborate a little bit.

GREAT LOOKING STICK!!!
Great looking bow and I know it shoots great. Ben makes great looking and great shooting bows, and you don't have to wait very long to get one either. I hope you kill a lot of critters with it. LCH
Very Nice .Bet she shoots awesome.
So Don,
How's she shooting for you? Know you liked the previous bird but is the 62" working better for you? Probably a little smoother at your draw length. The rack contains some of the nicest bows out there by now. Best luck.
Great looking bow!!!!!
Congrats on a great bow! Heard some good stories about Hummingbird. ...
Nice Don. Bring that one to Compton's too Please
Very nice looking bow!
Mike,
It will be in the "herd" that I'm bringing for sure !!! To be perfectly honest.....I'm not that good of a shot, but these Hummingbird bows seem to shoot better for me than anything else. I don't know why, and I have several bows by different bowyers, they just do.
I went out this evening and was intent on finding the arrow that this bow shoots the best with. I took my 31 1/2" 55/75 Gold Tips with 100 grain brass inserts up front and my 30 1/2" AD Hammerhead Trad Lites with 100 grain brass inserts up front......along with several different weight field tips from 100 grains up to 200 grains.
The first several groups I shot all of the arrows together to see if I could get any "groupings" together......or close, anyways. The 55/75's had 125 grain tips, and the Hammerheads had 145 grain tips. Here are the results.

After going to 4 arrow groups, I decided to go up to 145 grain tips on the 55/75's. Here are those results.

That last picture was the "worst" group that I shot with them........below was my best two groups of the evening with the 55/75's and 145 grain tips.
I "think" I found the combo for the 55/75's and here is the proof.

I'll work with the Hammerheads later, and see what I can come up with. As I said, I'm not that good and this evening was "better" than normal for me.......but I was very satisfied with both my shooting and the arrow combo that I came up with. Oh.......and I did shoot this evening with my brand spankin' new Full Shot Glove and was very pleased with it also. I had never used one before, but in my opinion.......it's a "keeper" too.
Yep.......Ol' "Cutter"........is gonna stay on my bow rack.

Looking good Don, gotta stick with it now-no more new bows-at least for awhile,LOL!
Nice bow Don. I don't know of anyone who makes a bow that looks and shoots as well as Ben's bows. Every time I get one of them someone comes along and begs for it. I hate to see a grown man beg so I usually don't have one of his bows long. Right now I have 3 favorite bows and one of them is a Hummingbird. Good shooting Don. :archer2:
Don
Sweet bow! Enjoy :)
Every time I see one of the Hummingbirds make me want pull out my wallet.
Man she is a bute.
Bens bow are some of the best around ! I will have me another Kingfisher some day for sure .
She's a beaut, no doubt! Kinda figured it'd be more like 57#@28" (just in case you needed to part with her, she'd be right in my wheelhouse!)Man, she's beautiful! Congrats.
