There has been rumors going around that Morrison Archery is going out of business, Maybe wishful thinking by some. Anyway we are NOT GOING OUT OF BUSINESS, I have a least 10 yrs I plan on running this business before someone else is ready to run it. .... I have 2 longtime employees leaving, So I had planned on slowing it down a bit. That doesn't seem to be working out, so I have hired 1 new employee that has worked in the bow building business before and is working out real good. I have one opening to replace our main sander, which I feel sure I can fill and be right where we where before and expanding.

Good to hear Bob. Keep up the good work.
And there are those that think being your own boss is a piece of cake! :D (i am not one of them!)
Internet and rumors, hard to believe! lol
Glad to see you putting it to rest Bob.

So you are accepting applications for that 'sander' position? How much do I have to pay to work there?
Bjorn, I already tried that route but Miss Kim said she wasn't moving to Ohio. Curses...foiled again!
Great news, BUT.....
I'm confused as this site is where that rumor originated. I went to the Morrison site and the announcment has been removed...

I'm easily confused tho..

I knew the thought of having a REAL JOB would scare you back into the bowyers guild. Kidding aside, real glad to hear you are going to keep making bows. Top of the line in every way. Kudos!
Thats great news!
Great news!
Good to hear this.
Morrision bows forever! Thanks Bob! I still have not gotten over the shock of your first annoncement! Bob, you are one of our great tradional bow designers and builders of our time! Thanks, Ken
Bob I'll sand bows for $0.50 per hr :saywhat: .. ( ok maybe $1.00 LOL LOL ) I'm sure you will not have a hard time finding someone.. (you could always call Belcher LOL :biglaugh: )
Hi Bob, I also heard that you are no longer taking orders for custom bows, that you are only selling what you have built. Is that correct?
Good! Was hoping to get down and meet y'all this summer!
Magnus
Bob,that is great.
Talk with you soon.
Ken
Bob, Thank goodness that was only a rumor. As Ken said, you are definitely one of the great bow designers and builders of our time. Besides, things just wouldn't seem the same! Happy to hear you'll give us 'bout 10 more years.
Great news! Thanks for clarification.
Good news I never heard the rumor and I am glad of it!! You are one of the greatest bowyers to work with!!
MARK
Is there a position for "product field tester" open also?
Glad to hear the 'news'.
Glad to hear the rumor wasn't true! I've taken more game with your bows than any other brand, bar none! They seem to know what to do at that moment of truth.
I know you have to do what is right for you, but I for one am more then a little excited that your bows will be available for a while longer!
A firm cyber handshake extended your way brother!
:notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:
I don't think it was a rumor? I saw your site as well as others. Pretty confusing if you ask me, but welcome back!
I was a little confused, as the warranty on in-stock new bows was 30 days, it would lead one to believe that this was it.
Good to clear things up though..
A little confuseing, is was the reason I removed it from my website, more was being read into it than was stated.I hope that is all clear now.
Michael, the new employee that I have is from your area, if I can find a sander down that way they could share the ride.
:bigsmyl:
Whewwwwww!!!
This is a development that will lead to the untimely deaths of many fine animals....
I'm confused.
Come on lads... Bob was just tryin' to get those of you on the fence to place an order! ;) :biglaugh:
I'm glad you're staying around - some of the finest bows I've shot and never owned. Good to know I'll be able to correct that in the future.

We had a furniture store around here like that. Went out of business every six months or so.
;)

Good news, Bob. The bow you made for me has got to be one of the world's best. We would have missed you too much.
Good news!
OK now I'm even more confused  I wrote a comment early about Morrison Bows going out of business and it was pulled.
I own two Morrison bows and was glad to hear they where not going out of business. :banghead:
Great news I need a set of longbow limbs right now!
Just talked to Bob the other day and had a fine chat..as always. Thanks, Bob!
Many decent bowyers out there who make fine bows. Bob is one who makes fine bows and a fine friend.
If confused, jingle him up on the phone and get it straight from the man himself. He types 2 fingers I think!
 :jumper:
Glad to hear that Bob, I too had heard that rumor. Many happy returns!
G
Thanks, Bob. Glad to hear you're still at it.
