I'm working on a bamboo backed bow and planned to make some bamboo arrows for it when i was done. I have a box of 300 or so shoots to go through so i figured i would be able to find some decent shafts out of the pile. I would really like to see some pictures of the ones you have or any tips you have on making them. I've seen a couple of build-a-longs for this but would still like to see more pictures.
Thanks
Adam
there is no other natural material that compares to cane for arrows. it's all i use for hunting and 3d. you can check out some i've made on my website, www.cadesbowsandblades.com (http://www.cadesbowsandblades.com)
Here are a few I did. New at it too but they are straight and fly good' I have a dozen with field points i straightened and have to add the fletches.

i got a couple that a buddy of mine made they fly great
Here are the first ones I made. Got the cane off the ditch bank near my home. I was very surprised how straight you can get em and how well they fly. I shoot 3 under so I cut my nocks so they act like a snap nock. Fletched them with dyed natural turkey feathers from the ST. JUDES auction. Paul<><

It would almost be a shame to shoot such good looking works of art.
Could some on put a pic on here of the cane before it was taken from the field.
Check here http://www.primitivearcher.com/smf/index.php these guys shoot a bunch of cane.
