Let me start out by saying there are many good knife makers aboard Tgang. Sure don't want to hurt anyone's feelings but then again, I'm told by my best hunting buddy McMahon that I'm really good at that.........
I just got another Doug Campbell knife. I'm blown away. Now I can't pretend to know anything about the wood and the steel, etc..I do know nice work when I see it and ol Doug is an artist!
If you guys want to add a knife to your collection, best get one of these before he realizes he can get two times what he's charging now for them 8-)

Beautiful knife, Congrats!!!!!
We do have some AWESOME knife makers on here... I need to add one of Doug's knives to my personal tradgang collection.
Yep, looks like a keeper! Very nice!
As usual, I agree with Biggie on all counts here. I saw those go up for sale the other day and kick myself for hemming and hawing. I've bought two of Doug's Damascus capers and should really get one of his "regular" steel pieces.
Good lookin' knife Biggie. should serve you well.
That is a beauty Biggie! I saw it when it was listed - gorgeous piece of koa!
And you're right about the prices - bound to be going up after the Atlanta show next month...
Thanks Biggie, glad it got there safe and sound and thanks for the kind comments everybody. Looking forward to seeing pics some of those knives in action...
Dang Biggie, you beat me to it! I bought the other one he had up for sale and it got here. Funny...they both left Montana last week and both ended up in GA this week, to both end up skinning something at Smoking Arrows sometime this year. :D

The piece of curly Koa on this one has to be seen to believed. It has an almost translucent 3-D effect. The fit/finish are perfect and the steel I know from experience is as good as it gets. Doug's work only continues to improve with each piece being more stunning than the last.
Beautiful knives!
Truly talented that Woody!
Biggie,
Cool looking piece.Doug is making one for me & hunting partner as I type.I sent him a bunch of cool materials for handles. Can;t wait to see them !
You be careful you don't cut yourself with that. Thats a nice looking tool. Don
JC...I ALMOST got 'em both!!! I only chose that one cause it was a tiny bit longer!
Both of those are gorgeous!
Wayne my wife told me again last night that longer ain't always better. Have no idea why she likes to tell me that.
Beautiful knifes, I want one.
:biglaugh:
:notworthy: :clapper:
Beauty!
That is beautiful! I had Doug make 3 knives out of warthog tusks from warthogs I had killed in Africa. Gave them to the bowhunters that were in my wedding for a gift. I kept one for myself. I love them.
  :clapper: :clapper:
They are beautiful both of them. Biggie you beat me to that one I saw it a day late.
I am like SteveO, I thought just a bit to much on that one, Then BOTH went away. Now I know the rest of the story. Congats guys. They are sweet looking. nice job and on them knives Doug, nice act of kindness to Frank.
Awesome job, as usual Doug. Biggie I'm surprised you didn't get the oosik handle!
I'm bringing that knife to Ohio this year.
We'll both use it!
