Don supplied the shafts, I only added the Cimpl
I like these which were crafted by Rick Stillman:

Midd, those are sweet! is that a wrap or did you do the fade yourself? Nice splicing too.
Here's a few of my hack job paint dipped/crested.

Badger, are Gold TIps wrapped or painted?
Does anyone try and match their arrows to their bow?
night, i have a graybark BW and use black carbon GT's . i figured it would "match" better with the dark bow instead of a wood grain look. My quiver is also black ( with a little portion of the leather i painted gray) to match. I am about to fletch some more arrows (black GT's) and i am considering maybe a red/black/gray or possibly white feather to "match" my widow stick.

I want my arrows as bright as I can get. From my experience, it really pays off when you KNOW where you hit. I love the classic looks of natural turkey but danged if they don't disappear on the way to a target.
Here are some arrows for your review.. The white feathers are Turkey and the barred yellow spliced feather is dyed Turkey, the Red barred and Green barred are dyed Turkey too. I dye them myself . :archer2:

Seth,
I use the Testor's brand model enamels. Both spray and in the small bottles. I use the spray to do the cap dips (one coat flat white, two coats color) and the other to do the cresting. I have never had any trouble getting it to stick to the carbon shafts. I always wipe the bare shafts down with acetone before painting.
Here are a few pictures of some arrows I have done. These are a few years old.

Here are some wood shafts I made-up.

These are wood shafts footed with sections of alum. arrow (increases FOC and can use screw-in points)

All of these were done with the Testor's paints. The paints are very durable (I don't use any clear coat and have arrows I have used for 4 or 5 years) and It's reasonably priced.
OkKeith
These are kinda plain and simple but I like the "glow" they have(even if they are sissy pink!) and they are very quick to make up.

Oh, the wraps are by "Onestringer".
