Looking for someone who makes kustom hip quivers,I know there are a few guys here that do? :help:
I'm with you, Larry. I'd like to have a custom hip quiver, too.
Take a look at cee_jays202 I just had a target hip quiver made by him-great work & craftsmanship at a price that was 50% less than what my buddy paid for a "mass produced" same style quiver. (My buddy also said my quiver was far better looking & better made than his!)
Art Vincent(archeryleather.com) & Steven Catts(hidehandler.com)- Both are very good.

huntmaster70 - I can't find cee_jays202 anywhere here on Trad Gang?
go to google-type in cee_jays202 I think you can find him there
Ahhh - got it! I was just looking at those last week.
I just ordered a custom one, I will post photos when it gets here. It is from CR leather
Carl
Take a look at the nice one on the new sponsor that Terry just put up - JPE Traditional
I'll second Art Vincent--he's not only a leather artist, he's an artist by trade. He's done murals in some high-dollar mansions in/around Nashville, and lots of fancy leather work.
Thanks guys for the input, I went with Art Vincent. He offered more of what I was looking for.
I have ordered one just like this one, because I liked it so much. Can't wait to get it. Art dose great work.

Not sure if you are wanting target or hunting but Thunderhorn does some great work on some hunting hip quivers.
Carl that would be the one like I ordered in saddle tan and where the deer horns are he's putting my initials, and also a matching belt, I can't wait either. Art does geart looking work.
make yer own, it's too easy ...

Thanks Rob I have one like that, DesertDude made it for me a couple years ago, just wanted alittle more fancyer one.
the most beautiful artistic leatherwork i've seen yet comes from trad gang sponsor artcuir leatherworks (http://www.artcuir.com/artcuir.htm) , but also check out mike\\'s archery leather (http://www.mikesarcheryleather.com/)
Nice quivers.
I have been looking at side quivers for awhile now.
Can someone tell me what holds the arrows in the pocket? Are there slots or tubes or do they just go into the pocket?
Thanks
John

in a word, friction.
I made one for myself. Found most of the tools needed for it around the house. Since then I've had three orders for one. Pretty simple to make and was a bit of fun. Give it a try.
