Title: Lynn Harrelson Longbows = Impressive
Post by: newtotrad on April 26, 2010, 10:45:00 PM
Hello,
Well bought some arrows from Mr. Harrelson at the ASTB shoot yesterday. Noticed he had one of his reflex/deflex longbows in left hand at the shoot.  He suggested I try it out and of course I did.  All I can say is it was one smooth drawing and fast bow.  Lynn and his wife are also very kind people.  Top notch.  Anyone own/have any pics of Harrelson longbows?  Really interested in seeing some.  Thanks.

I have owned one of Lynn's straight bows for over a year and will not part with it for anything. It is 66" 36@28" and is the bow I rehabed my shoulder with. The bow is Osage lams with a Bacote riser and is starting to darken into a really good looking bow. It shoots sweet and where I aim it, with no hand shock and flings an 1716 arrow at 167fps. For the money I feel Lynn Harrelson is one of the best bowyers out there.     Easy to deal with, listens to you, offers his opinion when needed, and is always respectful. One GREAT person to deal with!!  :archer:

Mr. Brake,
Would you happen to have any pics of your Harrelson bow?  The website does not have much to look at.  Thanks.

Awesome. Yeah he seems to haven taken a liking to that bow.  Is your son's bow a reflex/deflex or straight limbed model?

youth 56" 33# @ 26" straight one peice. it is so quiet you can't here it shoot at all.  I'm sure that r/d is a slammer. my longbow td. limbs have some reflex or deflex(not sure what you would call it) and it flings arrows hard. good luck if you get one, Lynns a great guy and bower.
