I've been doing rehab from hip surgery at home and have been stir crazy. I finished another bow rack and have been rearranging my man cave along with slinging a few arrows in the basement. Here are a few pics.

I used a piece of Catalpa wood with some wild grain for the feathers

Then I used a piece of walnut for the broadhead and footed the shaft with Black cherry

I have a few more things I'm working on, I'll post a few more pics when I'm done.
Outstanding!!!!!!!!
You are talented!
Man thats beautiful!! :clapper: :clapper: :clapper:
Well at least you are making productive use of your down time Kevin! Love the bow rack
sweet!!
nice work and great place to hang out
Where did you get a footing jig large enough ?
Good job
ChuckC
You did your bows proud.
Very Nice
Chuck, I cut the angle on my bandsaw, sanded and spliced two piece of ripped cherry for the footing. Then I hand planed it to shape.
I got the general idea from Whip when I had seen some of the ones he had made.
The next project will be a combo bow rack and arrow holder. I want to cut strips of light and dark wood glued up for the fletch to simulate barred feathers on my next project. I plan on making some to donate for worthy causes and maybe a few to sell.....if I get time?
How cool is this!!
How many grains per inch???
That is very very cool! Great work! :notworthy:
Very nice. That is a cool rack. I also like the bear mount with the deer skull. It is a great way to display a couple trophies.
Really nice!!!
Saw-wheat, Kevin!
That arrow should spine-test around
1,730.0 pounds, eh? :D
He didn't show you the pool table and bar in the other corner. What a great place to gather!
Some day my mancave will be cleaned. It is a mess with arrows, bow stuff, predator stuff, rifle stuff, laying everywhere. Yours is awesome. Love the bow rack!!
See, those are the kinds of pictures my wife does NOT want me looking at....gives me too many ideas. I have yet to get a portion of the house claimed as my "man-cave". Heck, my last set of deer antlers are hanging on the wall in the laundry room. Yours looks awesome  :campfire:
Jeremy
Good stuff right there!!!
I just started mine and I can hope it will be as nice as yours
That is the coolest bow rack ever!!
Nicely done!
Nice work done! :clapper:
Now that's a MAN cave!
Kevin, thanks for posting the man cave pics. Some day I sure would like to have something like that for my own. Great looking room, and nice job on the rack, that footing is too cool! Hope the hip rehab is going well, take it easy and heal right.
:clapper:
Kevin, I noticed your kind of partial to LBs lol. Great looking man cave, good for you.
Really nice Kevin!
That is awesome. My man cave isn't near that cool.
I don't have anything like that.
Looks like a great room to hangout in Kevin! That broadhead is a single bevel too. Major penetration on that arrow! I think if a grizz saw you coming with that he'd run for the hills.
The man cave is cool but the bow rack is AWSOME
The ONLY thing I can see Missing: Dust and Shavings, and Stuff Scattered Everywhere!! :saywhat:  :clapper: :clapper: :archer2:
Kevin,
After being up there for the rabbit hunt, I didn't think your basement could get any better. I kept trying to describe it to my wife, but now I can just show her these photo.
By the way, that bow rack looks great! Very creative.
