After a long waiting my JD Berry Recurve finally arrived yesterday. It is a beautiful bow and shoots very nice and stable. Very forgiving even comparing with longbows.
41#@26, 62". Lacewood and Chathen riser. Actionwood core, Yew back and belly. Elk nock and his signature arrow inlay.
James told me he did not make many recurves so I consider myself to be lucky to have one. With the scarcity of Berry recurves, I would share the pictures here:

Very nice .How she shoots
Smooth draw no stacking. No handshock. I am very impressed by how fast it move the 460gr arrows with just 41#. First 3 shots at 15yd is a very tight group and have to change to 20yd so not to kill arrows. At 20 yards the group is also tight and accurate. I can feel the good bow really improve my accuracy now.
Nice bow. Big fan of James' work.
WOW if it shoots have as sweet as it looks ya done good!
Nice looking bow,the arrow inlay on the back looks sweet, congrats!
That is a keeper for sure!!
The arrow inlay is very nice and the wood combos look great!
Nice looking bow. Thanks for posting lots of photos of it especially the one showing it fully strung.
You must of really been sucking up...James swore he would never make another recurve. Very nice bow!!
Very nice!
Thanks guys!
I did not realize James does not like to make recurves to begin with. He tried to talk me out of that several times, but I was in love with the picture on his website. Any way, this one takes 8 month. Almost 3 times longer than waiting for his longbows. But it's well worth it.
Sharp bow!!! Enjoy!
Very Nice! Congrat's

James said it is mid. I feel it is like a bit lower than mid.
