Nice shot Bill!
Good shooting Bill & nice video.....
My set up is SXT with Evolution recurve limbs 60"48#@28" 550 grain carbon arrow.
Gotta love a head shot! Nice work!
Congratulations, love the head shot.
Great video, nice shot.
Just ordered some 125's off the Magnus website. I'll keep you posted. My hunt runs May 3rd thru May 31st. My buddy's deer lease is being over run by the feathered buzzards and he wants them out. My plan is to help him out
Great job Bill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I took my first bird with a bow and used a bull head. They sure do make a mess of a turkey! LOL
Congrats!
Nice job. Gruesome.
ouch! Nice shooting.
great shot Bill
nothing safe when you'v got one of the zippers!
Well done Bill!
Bill, You are the man.
Good job. Enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome footage and shot. It gets me pumped for the season here in PA.
Congrats,
As you mentioned, neck shot is the better option. Sever the message center and tom turkey is not going anywhere.
Mike
:scared:  GREAT Shooting!
Nice shooting Bill!!! :notworthy: Guess your getting some field testing done with the Evolution limbs. :biglaugh:
Bill
Nice shooting??????? Looks like you hit him in the kisser and failed to get the neck or spine. The follow up shot left something to be desired :archer2: None the less at least you got a big bird whereas I didn't bag a one :(
:clapper: ...enough said
Nice
Great job Bill. You the man.Awesome video
Actually it looked like a real good shot, but as he mentioned - aim for the neck not the head. I am planning on using bullheads this season (starts next week) and this is really good to know.
Bill
You and Tracy did a great job on the video. I picked up a few Bullheads today to try it the "Zipper" way on another turkey. Can I borrow Tracy to video my next attempt!......I know... she's probably not interested in filming a turkey holding a bow!(LOL) :D
Good job! I have to laugh a bit about some of my fellows who say aim at the neck- you probably did and missed by 1". You need to adjust your sights!
Thanks for sharing. Them turkeys are tough critters for sure.
Great shot, Bill
Congrats on the turkey!
I checked out the other videos too. They're great! The armidillo hunts looked awfully familiar. Looked like Ray's place. I crossed armidillo off my bucket list last time I was there. Neat critters. :)
Nice shooting.
nice video, amazing shot! :notworthy:
Thanks everyone! The video camera adds alot of extra trouble, but it sure is neat when it works out.Usualy, I do the videoing and the shooting.Luckily, Scott was doing video duty this time.As fast as they came running in I dont know if I could have gotten out of video mode and into shoot mode fast enough. There has been 430 views on that video already.
Bill
I steped the second shot off later. It was 39 yards, and I only took that shot because he was still on his feet.I dont know how he ever got up after the first shot.INCREDIBLY TOUGH BIRD!!
Nice videos! Awesome shot!
I hear ya Biil, thats what i call an excedrin headache.
Great shot, great video, great bows! Congrats Bill!
I couldn't believe that turkey went that far after that shot. Glad you recovered him.
Excellent Video. I haven't used the bullhead but my buddy highly recommends them.
Great video, Thanks for sharing.
Not sure what I'm more impressed with, the shot or how those turkeys came in on a string. Nice job
Chris
I bought a pack of Bullheads from Bass Pro on Sunday (125 grain). I went to my basement range (14 yard shot). Stuck a nail in my target and hung a piece of electrical tape down from it. Shot a practice Montec first to make sure that broadhead where the field tips do -- it did -- hit the tape but didn't cut it. Then put on a Bullhead. Cut the tape in half on the first shot! The arrow bounced off the layered foam target and fell to the floor. The broadhead was still super sharp, screws tight, etc. I'm impressed. Hoping to try it on a real bird in the AM. Oh, I also bought that Killer Bee decoy -- pull the string and the tail fan rises and falls.
