Title: Eastern Bowhunter
Post by: Magwa45 on April 21, 2010, 11:50:00 PM
Found about 2 years worth of the old magazine "Eastern Bowhunter," which was published in Maryland from about 1956-57. Aubrey Bodine, the Baltimore Sun photographer, was the staff photographer and had some great shots on the covers. There were interviews with Howard Hill and Fred Bear, among others. There are also some great old photos of bowhunters wearing their Robin Hood style hunting caps. Those were the days, real old school bowhunters. Also saw a few ads for Bear Archery and Howard Hill promoting Ben Pearson equipment. What a blast!
