I just saw Jim Gainey's (BlackCreek)new recurve Takedown. Jim is a friend of mine, but this thread is not to promote the bow for a friend. I gotta tell you this is one of the finest looking recurves I have ever seen. Hopefully he will post a picture of it. Again, I am not syaing this because he is a friend, it is a WOW looking bow. I could not shoot ir because it is left hand, but if looks count, it is a winner.
Pics man...PICS! :saywhat:

All I can think of is WOW!!!!
Stats - Bow length, draw weigh at your draw, Arrow type and weight. That is a nice looking bow for sure and if you would like a Lefty to demo it I am willing to help:-)
Really like the short riser.

So many beautiful bows so little time. Love the woods. Great bow.
This particular bow is left hand, 56", I think it is 56#. Jim can be more specific. The video shows shots thru chrono with arrow at over 8 gr/lb and shooting right at 200 fps. when drawn to 28"
Bow is 56" 56# @ 28" drawn to 28" with a 450gr arrow. Right at 8gpp. Finger release, 16 strand 8125 flemish twist string with rubber silencers and a rubber tip protector.
Limbs are black glass with a bamboo and weft glass core. This is the same riser as our Banshee T/D.
Arrow was a Carbon Express Heritage 150 with a 100gr point. Bow shoots the same arrow with a 125gr point (8.5gpp)at 194 fps.
Now that's SEXY!
Lefty eh........I can shoot that!
Come on out to Tannehill this weekend and shoot it!
... more than ..nice !!!!
Copperhead skins
Nice !!! Can't wait for my Banshee TD LB to get here :)
