Hi guys i am going on a elk hunt by horse back & was wondering if any body makes a nice bow sling what to keep both hands on the rains. Thank you for any help & have a nice day.

Frank.  If I am interpreting your question well . . .I myself have never done that, but from what I have read of those that have.. .  you may want to really think twice about tying your bow (and quiver ?) to your body while riding a horse in the back country.

Didn't Nathan Andersohn have a recent article in Trad Bow magazine that spoke a bit about this ?

thanks guys for the help bob hidehandler has nice stuff. chuck i dont get trad mag. but i was going to use a quver that hangs on the horn of the saddle not on the bow. thanks again for the help.

thanks bob not shore how to carry the bow just want both hands to hold onto in case the horse gets nervice

Frank,
If you are going out with an outfitter I would strongly recommend talking with him.  Even just riding trails up to a base camp from where you will hunt can be an adventure with horses.  After many years and having or seeing mishaps I carry a 3 piece longbow and arrows in PVC tubes.
