Title: Whipping up on Axis deer and pigs with a vintage Super Diablo
Post by: Apadaka on April 20, 2010, 05:15:00 PM
I am hunting axis deer and feral hogs on my best friend's ranch down in Texas and in between hunts we discovered his old Damon Howatt Super Diablo under his bed. He originally purchased the bow in 1969 and it is in mint condition.I took the oportunity to encourage his son to shoot it and move away from "wheels" to traditional. I am witnessing the tranformation as I write this.He enjoys the whole natural concept over his compound.
What a long way around to come to my question. Any body know the recommended brace height for this vintage recurve? Thanks
